American Flyer Operating Milk Car

Chuck bought this last year at an estate sale for $50 and wonders if he overpaid.

I don't think so, Chuck. According to the 2003 Greenberg's Pocket Guide to American Flyer, this Operating Milk car is worth $160 in excellent condtion. These cars chip very easily, especially the corners of the roof and it is a little difficult to see in the photo if there are any chips. It also came with more barrels. Otherwise you have a great action car that unloads the barrels onto the platform.

On Ebay these tend to bring more like $110 to $120 in this condition.
