The Vintage Clothing, Jewelry and Textiles Show run by Cat's Pajamas Productions was held Friday night and Saturday at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin, IL. With about 50 dealers (about 20% from out of state), the show is large enough to be worth the trip, but small enough to be comfortable. Many of the dealers dress in vintage attire for the show. Friday night featured a jazz band and wine bar that were well received.

There was a very good selection of vintage clothing from both pricing and era perspectives (from Victorian through the 70's). There was a good selection of affordable items, which did better than the higher priced items during the typically slower summer timeframe.
