Sorry - Charlie the Tuna Watch
Posted Tuesday, February 28 by Brian •
Also, I have a Charlie the Tuna watch, just wondering if it has any value ....
thank you!
Michele

Well, Charlie the Tuna, the Rodney Dangerfield of Tunas, who never got any respect from Starkist, apparently doesn't rate very highly with collector's either. This advertising watch has Starkist's memorable "Sorry, Charlie" sign on a hook, that let Charlie know he wasn't good enough for Starkist. This watch is from the early 1970's, although there are later versions as well. On Ebay, even the ones in the best condition are only bringing $25-$30. Average used condtion, but still working, more like $15. Sorry Charlie.
